Airlines flying nonstop between Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) and Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW) in Fort Myers have removed thousands of seats from previously scheduled flights during the winter season. Between Sept. 5 and Oct. 24, Delta Air Lines cut more than 34,000 seats on direct flights to Fort Myers originating at MSP that the carrier had previously made available for October 2022 through March 2023, according to data from flight information provider Cirium.
